Tutor Sessions and Office Hours

A tutor's main responsibility is to teach the students in each session. These sessions run about 1 hour long, are are composed of 1 tutor and roughly 5 or so students. The ultimate goal of each session is to cement a solid understanding of the previous week's lecture topics.
Office hours are sessions, typically 1-2 hours long, in which questions from students on homeworks, projects, and conceptual lecture questions, are answered by the uGSIs, tutors, and professors. Hosting office hours requires preparation, patience, efficiency, and understanding. The goal of office hours is not to get a student to the solution, but to give them a better understanding of the problem.
